MAKE YOUR OWN GREEK SALAD BAR AT HOME

THE MANY INGREDIENTS THAT GO INTO MAKING GREEK SALADS SO YUMMY!

When Making Your Own Greek Salad Bar at Home for your family or friends why not have lots of toppings layed out buffet style and let each person choose what they want on their salad.  Some individuals might not be big beet eaters and some might not like feta cheese, or olives.  This presentation looks quite appetizing.  It could certainly be an entire meal paired with some garbanzo beans or some chicken. Of course normally this type of presentation you see on a big buffet table at a party.  Why not make your family feel special.  The next day you can use any leftovers in a soup or as part of another salad or main dish.

Here is another fancier way to serve a salad….. in a martini glass.  This one was a Greek Salad that my catering company served at a wedding.  I love serving anything, desserts, soups, salads, pastas in a martini glass.  Martini Glasses make foods seem so special.

A really good Greek salad dressing is important for a great Greek Salad.  Be sure to check out this Greek dressing recipe below for your next salad.  It will be less expensive and more delicious than ones you are buying in the store.

I am not a fan of salads before but as the years go by and I get to taste flavorful options, I am now a fan. I love this Greek salad and the idea of salad bars at weddings in a Martini glass is perfect! :)

Hi Kim, the martini glasses can be purchased at target. I picked them up at several places over the years. They are good for using with desserts also.
